Bozkurt started working as a production crew member of the Istanbul Festivals organized by Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts in 1990. He later became the Production Manager of the same foundation while continuing to work as a free-lance production/stage manager and production designer. In 2003 he joined The Wooster Group as production manager and moved to New York. In 2005 he co-founded the production and design company, organizma.org in Istanbul and in 2009 started to work also with Armitage Gone! Dance.
